All round crazy about the round ball

The German football league, Bundes Liga, drew to a close last weekend (13 May). The local team Bayern-München (quite predictably) won the championship again, and the fans were of course keen to witness the moment at the stadium or in front of big projection screens everywhere. The whole town was quite crazy as you can see from the photos below. Bayern-München gave its fans 20 reasons to celebrate by bagging its 20th Bundes Liga championship. It may not be a surprise if the team makes its 21st next season. As I said, football results seems rather predictable in Germany and it makes tipping notoriously easy. I wished I got a few warm-up laps beforehand because it took me quite a while to get used to the cars and the sharp corners. But that wasn't necessary for the experts of us. By the time the real race was finished, I was a full 3 laps behind the leader! I knew I was a long way behind the others and in danger of being the lucky last, until I saw someone getting stuck after a crash. For me, finishing 12th out of 13 wasn't too bad - I guess I can only improve in the future! We all knew who the top 3 guys would be before the race and they did n...
